Geena Davis
Geena Davies is an American actor and producer from the United States. She is also writing, a feminist rights activist and women's rights advocate. The actress has been recognized in all of her roles on television as well as her various appearances in Hollywood. Prior to her career in films, she worked as a fashion designer. She also made it to the semi-finals of the Team of Women's Archery at Olympics. Since the age of a child, her fascination for music has led her to her learning piano and flautist. She was an organist in the church of Wareham. After finishing her graduation in drama from Boston University, she went to New York City to start her acting career. It was a long and hard road and do unorthodox jobs for a time before she got a chance in acting. She had been a model for several years prior to making her film debut, 'Tootsie. The movie was released in 1982. She also appeared in several Television serials. She later enjoyed a very successful acting career and was awarded an Oscar Award for her movie 'The Accidental Tourist'. Additionally, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for her performance in a TV drama. She is married to Reza Jarrahy and has one daughter and two sons from the marriage. She's also involved in many social issues.
