Srushti began preparing herself for her UPSC examination in her 3rd year as an engineering student. After her graduation she began to question whether or not she'd enjoy a career in engineer position. Once she realized her goal, she began to work on civil services. The parents of her encouraged her to prepare for civil service and to make a career serving the public. Her motivation never waned and was focused at her dream to become an IAS. In order to be a candidate for UPSC, you have to put in more work. She also prepared for UPSC examinations while taking engineering classes. Exam preparation consumed the entire day. Within just one and a quarter months, she was studying for engineering examinations, and stayed away from all contact with people. She believes that being focused only on the work at hand is the key to passing this test. She wanted to pass to the end of the process quickly, so she did a lot of hours. The routine of her day included reading newspapers to keep informed of the most recent news. Additionally, she received a lot of online support by gathering studying materials as well as watching Rajya Sabha TV.
